CANADIAN ARCHIVAL SYSTEM (CAS) WORKING GROUP - CONSULTATIONS

Get involved in “Canada’s archives – A new Blueprint”!

The launch of “Canada’s archives – A new Blueprint” on November 13, 2015 (see the agenda) will kick-off the new strategy and identify priorities for our work together in the short term.

This event is an important step, but the Canadian Archival System Working Group wants a national dialogue. That is why we are inviting all members of the community to share feedback in two key areas:

  1. What priorities should we act on over the next two years?
  2. How should we coordinate our work together to implement strategy?

Get directly involved in discussions with us November 13th by sending us your feedback by email to: BAC.partenaires-stakeholders.LAC@canada.ca.

All input that we receive on November 13th by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time will be directly integrated into the afternoon discussions in Ottawa! Follow the discussion on Twitter using the hashtag #archives2026.

If you are unable to send us your comments on November 13th, we would encourage you to participate in the consultation nonetheless, by sending us your ideas by November 23, 2015.

In the weeks that follow, the Working Group will consolidate all of the input received, both online and in-person. A summary report will be shared with the community in early 2016, and the Working Group will begin work on an action plan for the next two years.

We look forward to hearing from you, and to beginning this work together!
