ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY/BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH:
Roy Chan was the sixth child of Chan Dun and Koo Ching Lim, the proprietors of the Panama Cafe. About 1956, Roy Chan joined the Post Office, working as a letter carrier. Chan married Susan Cheung and had two sons, Neal and Arnold. Roy Chan was also a member of the Chinese Presbyterian Church.

SCOPE AND CONTENT:
The fonds consists of photographs of the Chan family, North Ward schoolchildren, the family home at 2308 Wark Street, and the Chinese Presbyterian Church in Victoria.
