Graveyard of the Pacific is a virtual exhibition exploring the treacherous shores of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada which contains 1.5 shipwrecks per mile. The visually stunning site captures the feel of the murky depth and raging seas upon which many of boats ended their voyage.
The virtual exhibition includes the location of historic shipwrecks off the coast of the Island and the tragic stories of loss that accompany many of these wrecks. In addition, the myriad of hazards that brought down the ships and the salvage and rescue of the boats are explored.
